Writing - Not Always an Easy Option!

Are you also interested in writing a book? So often I hear people say that their dream is to write a book, and when they speak of their desire it's obvious their aspiration is heartfelt. Hey, I've felt that same way every time I begin writing another book... and for every book I've written (all 3 of them) there are many more drafts that have been commenced but not finished or published!

It is easy, and possibly even inevitable, to become discouraged about the process. Along the way I've learned that writing the book is often the easy part. I am not kidding when saying this, as there is as much time, effort and energy involved in getting a book published and then following up with all the marketing and promotions needed to ensure some sales from all the hours spent hunched over the computer.

However, the marketing and promotions phase of a book's birthing can often be a lot of fun! Driving for hours to some unfamiliar destination and then speaking to a group of complete strangers can be unnerving but also exhilirating. Being interviewed on radio and giving free teleseminar classes are also great ways of promoting the message that's in the book. Talk about being taken out of one's comfort zone!

Since the release of my last book, Edgar Speaks, I've had some great opportunities for sharing the message in the book. This is the link to the free teleseminar class - Transforming and Thriving in Times of Significant Change - held on June 8, 2011.

Another great link (below) is the conversation I had with my co-host Jim Guerci on our radio show. We spent the hour talking about the changing times, 2012, earth changes, etc etc....

There is still more to come! My publisher is busy planning and organizing my forthcoming book tour which is scheduled for early August. I believe it will commence in Ashville NC and from there move up the east coast. And, then hopefully, at some stage there will even be a book tour of the west coast. Will keep you posted with the details as they become available.
